Who We Are?
HARVEST FOUNDATION is a Non-Government Organization which helps orphans and other vulnerable children together with talented ones to ensure they reach their God given potential. The organization started way back in 2008 as a community based organization and it was registered as a non-government organization in 2012 with registration number S.5914/9549. The organization works in close partnership with Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development under M.O.U.

To prepare citizens with a holistic foundation, who will be morally, socially, economically and politically upright.
Our Mandate
The mandate of our organization is to promote sustainable development through provision of quality education, medical services delivery to the needy population especially vulnerable children and orphans.
The overriding desire is to have a vibrant organization actively engaged in advocacy for equitable andjust policies and programs that duly meet the concerns and aspirations of our people.
Our Strategic Goals
- To complement Government Development programs of increasing access to education, particularly sciences for oriented skills for young people.
- Grooming young people on the foundation of Christian principles to enhance a culture of moral regeneration amongst youth in Ugandan communities
- Enhancing a supportive environment for orphans and Vulnerable children to access quality education and health for a bright future
- To create employment for competent Christian youth

With a strong background in social impact, Dr. Otengho has been a committed supporter of the organization since its grassroots beginnings. Before assuming his current role, he actively participated in outreach programs focused on empowering vulnerable groups and strengthening community structures. His dedication to sustainable change continues to influence the organization’s strategic direction and governance.
He serves as the Board Secretary of HAFON, where he provides strong leadership in the administration and coordination of the board’s activities. Drawing from his background in pastoral work and extensive experience in community service, he plays a vital role in ensuring effective communication and governance within the board. Through his dedication, Pr. Egessa helps advance the foundation’s mission of transforming lives and making a positive impact on the community.
He is a dedicated Board Member of HAFON, committed to guiding the organization with wisdom and a heart for service. With a background in pastoral leadership and community outreach, he has been instrumental in mentoring youth and supporting vulnerable families through faith-based initiatives. His deep understanding of grassroots needs and passion for transformative ministry play a key role in shaping the Foundation’s mission to uplift communities and inspire hope.
